Bled is one of the most famous tourist destination in Slovenia, located, close to the border with Austria, between Ljubljana and Kranjska Gora. The lake is surrounded by mountains and forests. It is 2,120 m long and 1,380 m wide, with a maximum depth of 30.6 metres. The lake surrounds the only natural island in Slovenia, called the Bled Island.
