Argentina, officially the Argentine Republic is divided into twenty-three provinces and one autonomous city (commonly known as the capital federal, but officially Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires.
Location: southern South America, situated between the Andes in the west and the southern Atlantic Ocean in the east. It is bordered by Paraguay and Bolivia in the north, Brazil and Uruguay in the northeast and Chile in the west.
It is the second largest country in South America by land area, and eighth in the world.
