Djibouti is a country in the Horn of Africa. Capital and largest city also call Djibouti. It is bordered by Somalia (southeast), Ethiopia (west and south) and Eritrea (north). On the other side of the Red Sea, on the Arabian Peninsula, 20 kilometres (12 mi) is Yemen. The country is mainly a stony desert, with scattered plateaus and highlands.
